Bar Bender
A bar bender cuts, bends and fixes steel reinforcement bars to the shape and size a concrete structure requires. The work follows a bar bending schedule and is checked against the tolerances set on site.
Bar bending is a core construction trade on reinforced-concrete work: buildings, bridges, water structures and industrial plants all depend on correctly shaped and placed reinforcement. Candidates at SDC Overseas Training & Testing Center are trained and assessed in this trade for overseas employment.
